On April 14 in KX Space opened the exhibition of Contemporary Deviant Art.
Limitations and political correctness, the social aspect and the artistic component, Art Brut, deviant art or outsider art – these are the words. And they are the artists. Gennady Grishel, Konstantin Ladoshkin and Michael Bulich. Three deviant artists, three residents of neuropsychiatric clinic. They are unique and are not identical. Since 2002 year they are members of the group and workshop “Art ”Nu-vo!” Psycho-neurological clinic for elderly and disabled №3 in Minsk. And they have a career, exhibitions and festivals. Because career is also important. And all three are talented. Each is in his own way. Grishel is an endless soft kindness. Bulich – archetypical – he floats in the collective unconscious, yet we deny the unconscious. Ladoshkin – a window to the good Soviet past – in a naive graphic posters of the pioneer camps.
They are artists.
